About the Apps: Independent and Not Tied to One
Apps Are Made by Independent Developers
Switching Apps Does Not Change Your Subscription
Star IPTV works through independent IPTV apps, so you can choose the one you like on each device and change later without affecting your subscription. The same login details work in each app. We show setup for a few popular ones, but we do not make or control them, and each has its own terms and any prices.
Test Your Internet Connection Before You Judge Any IPTV Service
What Speed You Need
- HD streaming
- About 10 Mbps Per screen
- 4K streaming
- About 25 Mbps Per screen
Most streaming problems come from the home network, not the service. Run a speed test on the same device you watch on, ideally at the time of day you usually watch. As a rough guide you need about 10 Mbps for HD and about 25 Mbps for 4K on each screen, and more if several people share the connection. A wired connection is steadier than Wi-Fi.
How to Check Your Speed
-
01
Connect the device you watch on.
-
02
Open an independent speed-test site or app (for example fast.com).
-
03
Compare the result with the guide above and the number of screens in use.
